जन्दगीको पानाभरी सुख भेटिँदैन 

के भो मलाई लौन बुझिदेऊ
मनको आशा पुर्याउने फूल फूलाइदेऊ
व्यथा लुक्छ शून्यभित्र हेर्दा देखिँदैन
मुखमा ल्याई भन्न खोज्दा भन्न सकिँदैन

जीवनको एउटै मेरो इच्छा अल्झिरहेछ
हृदयको नशानशा सञ्चार भैरहेछ 
चाहानमा अल्झाउने तार छिन्न सक्छ
हेरिल्याए जिन्दगीमा व्यथा छिन्न सक्छ

Jandagiko panabhari sukh bhetindaina 

Ke bho malai launa bujhideoo
Manako aasha puryaune phool phulaideoo
Wyatha lukchha shunyabhitra herda dekhindaina
Mukhma lyai bhanna khojda bhanna sakindaina

Jeevanko eutai mero ichchha aljhirahechha
Hridayako nashanasha sanchar bhairahechha 
Chahanama aljhaune tar chhinna sakchha
Herilyae jindagima wyatha chhinna sakchha

I find no peace in the pages of life

Someone tell me this is the reason why
Let a flower blossom to fulfill all wish
On the outside no one can see this
Inside me silent hides my anguish
No words come out as I try to utter this
