नचाहँदै कति कुरा सबले स्वीकार गर्नु पर्छ
संसारमा जन्मेपछि एकदिन सबले मर्नु पर्छ

एकै ज्यान भई कसैसँग हुनु पर्छ आधी आधी
जति गाढा माया पनि भुल्नु पर्छ मनलाई बाँधी
कति आँखा रुवाएर आपूm ओझेल पर्नु पर्छ

धेरै बाटो धेरै घुम्ती हिंड्नु पर्छ काँडा बिझ्दै
जिन्दगी यो बितिजान्छ आखिरमा काँडा झिक्दै
सयौं खोला सयौं जँघार केही नभनी तर्नु पर्छ

Nachahandai kati kura sable swikar garnu parchha
Sansarma janmepachhi ekadina sable marnu parchha

Ekai jyana bhai kasaisanga hunu parchha aadhi aadhi
Jati gadha maya pani bhulnu parchha manalai bandhi
Kati aankha ruwaera aapum ojhel parnu parchha

Dherai bato dherai ghumti hindnu parchha kanda bijhdai
Jindagi yo bitijanchha aakhirma kanda jhikdai
Sayau khola sayau janghar kehi nabhani tarnu parchha

Everyone must accept things
Even if they come unexpected
Everyone must one day die
When one is born in this world

Although a single body
In equal halves one has to survive
Even the most deepest love
One has to brace the heart and forget
We might make many shed their tears
Yet one has to hide in the dark

Thorns will keep on piercing
Along many roads and bends
Life will eventually pass
Taking the thorns out till the end
Hundreds of rivers and gorges
One must silently cross and pass
