ल्याएको तिम्रो सम्झना मीठो गाउछे चरीले

नैलाख तारा टिपेर सारा सजाएँ गहमा
यो छातीभित्र सम्झना उल्र्यो मनको दहमा

सिमसिमे पानी टपटपी टप्के उजेली रातमा
चन्द्रमा नाच्यो फूल र पातमा मन नाच्यो साथमा

चौबन्दी तुनामा बाबरी फूल केवडा केशमा
जोवन तिम्रो क्या राम्रो खुल्ने नेपाली भेषमा

Jhyalma eklai baseko bela simasime jharile
Lyaeko timro samjhana mitho gauchhe charile

Nailakh tara tipera sara sajae gahama
Yo chhatibhitra samjhana ulryo manako dahama

Simasime paani tapatapi tapke ujeli raatma
Chandrama nachyo phool ra paatma mana nachyo sathma

Chaubandi tunama babari phool kewada keshma
Jowana timro kya ramro khulne nepali bheshma

Thoughts of you the soft rain brings
And of it the birds sweetly sing
