मलमली घुम्टो शीतको, बोझिल आँखा नीदको
उघार्छ फूलले जब जब डुब्छु नदीमा अतीतको

तालझैं निर्मल, नीलो त्यो नयन झुकाई हाँसेर
छालझैं चञ्चल, फूलको जोबन फुकाई नाचेर
चरीझैं पलपल मिठो वचन सुनाई डाकेर
इन्दे्रणी त्यो जाल प्रीतको, डुब्छु नदीमा अतीतको

जूनझैं शीतल, रूपको किरण फिँजाई मस्केर
परीझैं तलतल, नौलो त्यो जलन ब्यूँझाई जिस्केर
मोतीझैं टलपल मेरो यो मन सल्काई बिर्सेर
मोहनी त्यो चाल मीतको, डुब्छु नदीमा अतीतको

Malamali ghumto shitko, bojhil aankha nidko
Ugharchha phoolle jab jab dubchhu nadima atitko

Talajhai nirmal, nilo tyo nayana jhukai hansera
Chhalajhai chanchal, phoolko jobana phukai nachera
Charijhai palpal mitho bachan sunai dakera
Inderani tyo jal pritko, dubchhu nadima atitko

Junajhai shital, rupko kiran phinjai maskera
Parijhai taltal, naulo tyo jalana byunjhai jiskera
Motijhai talpal mero yo mana salkai birsera
Mohani tyo chal mitko dubchhu nadima atitko

Whenever a flower sheds
Its shawl of supple dew drops
And stirs its sleepy eyes to awake
I flow in the rivers of memories

Those blue eyes evoke a pristine lake
A coy smile ripples frivolous waves
Youthful flowers dance in delight
Charming call of the birds on all sides
Nets of passion are cast by a rainbow

Her glowing shapes she spreads out
