होशमा हुँदैनन् कोही राति राति

गन्दैन एक्लो जूनलाई कसैले
तारा गन्ने चलन यहाँ राति राति

हुँदैन जसको विपना नै आफ्नो
आउँदैन सपना पनि राति राति

उज्यालोमा बदनाम आँखाहरु हुन्छन्
नहुने के रै’छ यहाँ राति राति

दिनभरि खाएँ तिमीसँग कसम
लड्खडाउँदै आएँ सधैँ राति राति

Gandaina eklo junalai kasaile
Tara ganne chalana yaha rati rati

Hundaina jasko wipana nai aaphno

Dinabhari khae timisanga kasam

Do not call for anyone in the night
Some aren’t in their senses in the night

Nobody cares about a lone moon
Here they count the stars in the night
