फर्की फर्की यही गाउँमा आउन खोज्छ मन रे
मलाई भने हृदय नै खाम भित्र राखि पठाछन् ...

पढ्न लेख्न क्यैमा पनि मन लाग्दैन रे
खाँदा भोक सुत्दाखेरि निद्रा लाग्दैन रे
सताउँछ रे सम्झनाले मेरै रात दिन
रित्तो रित्तो लाग्छ रे छाती किन किन
मुटु यतै नै बिर्से कि खोजि पठाछन्

What I saw in my dreams
Now in real too I received
The letter my love sent for me
It says that he is doing well

He bows to mother and salutes uncle

The forests and every thing around

To come back to this same village
