About With the founding of Radio Nepal many artists of the Nepali Adhunik music genre found their space for establishing their career. Deepak Kharel is one among those established artists of that time whose popularity had already soared high at an early age. Although he could not completely devote himself to singing due to his other profession, he however kept music interwoven in the journey of his life. It is no coincidence that Paleti had the opportunity to stage a debut solo concert of this singer who started his career since the seventies. This album contains Kharel’s popular songs that were recorded live at the Paleti stage. Another objective of Paleti is to promote the culture among the artists and the audience in organising and attending live concerts. बारेमा रेडियो नेपालको सुरुआतले नेपाली आधुनिक संगीतमा राम्रा गायकहरू स्थापित भए । रेडियोका तिनै स्थापितमध्ये उम्दा गायक हुन् दीपक खरेल । युवा अवस्थामै लोकप्रियताको शिखर चुमेका दीपक भिन्दै कार्यक्षेक्रमा सत्रिय रहेकाले गायनमा मात्र केन्द्रित हुन त पाएनन्, तर पनि उनले संगीतलाई आफ्नो जीवनसित जोड्ने यात्रालाई भने कायम राखी नै रहे । सन् सक्तरीको दशकदेखि संगीतमा क्रियाशील दीपक खरेलको पहिलो एकल गायन प्रस्तुत गर्ने मौका पलेँटीलाई जुर्‍यो । त्यही अवसरमा संकलित लोकप्रिय गीतहरूलाई हामीले यस संग्रहमा समावेश गरेका छौं । पलेँटीको उद्देश्य कलाकार र श्रोता, दर्शकलाई कन्सर्ट गर्ने, हेर्ने बानी बसाल्नु पनि हो । संगीत गर्नु र सुन्नु दुवैले हामीलाई सकारात्मक संवेदनातर्फ उन्मुख गराउँछन् । राम्रो संगीत सुनौं र झनै सकारात्मक बनौं ।
